Artie Lange is in the middle of controversy after a series of shocking, explicit tweets in which he fantasizes about being ESPN “First Take” host Cari Champion’s slave master. Lange’s obscene rant happened on Tuesday but began making waves overnight and on Wednesday when outraged observers started an #iSupportCari trend on Twitter. Warning: the fantasy outlined by Lange is graphic.
The comedian started by writing, “The chick on ESPNs First Take is so f*ckin hot! Trying to maintain erection and j*rkoff to chick on First Take but they keep cutting back to Stephen A Smith and the white guy. Frustrating! I want the Chick on First Take to laugh at my white d*ck!”
Lange continued, “Here’s the scenario I’m using to j*rkoff to chick on First Take I’m T. Jefferson & she’s my slave. She beats the sh*t out of me & runs free. Then I c*m and she’s free! The Happiest ending ever! Then as reparations I make Skip Baylis (sic) my slave!”
“Hey @CariChampion lets me and you get busy! I attempt to whip @CariChampion cuz she disrespected the Jefferson Plantation but she grabs whip & beats me I c*m like a fat founding father. After having 8 illegitimate kids together @CariChampion & I marry at The Knights of Columbus in Linden New Jersey. Prob with that?! F- Off!” concluded Lange.
Champion has not addressed Lange’s comments herself, although thousands of people tweeted about their disgust with Lange’s “slave” fantasy and expressed support for her. On Wednesday, Lange used Twitter to promote his appearance on “@Midnight” but has otherwise kept mum on the controversy. What’s your reaction?
